I sent free copies of my book to several dozen leaders. When I've spoken with many of them afterwards, they sing the book's praises and say it was a hoot. And yet, only two recipients have reviewed my book on Amazon.
Why? Perhaps they're busy, don't want to go public on Amazon.com. Or maybe they really didn't like the book after all. And there is that adage about not saying anything if one can't say something nice.
Don't get me wrong: I'm not exactly on the hunt for negative public reviews. Still, I'm open to constructive feedback about the book's usefulness and find the recipient/reviews ratio intriguing.
If you've read Nonprofit Hell and are reading this, be a brave soul and drop me a line with your thoughts about the book or some scenarios you've experienced.
